Green and Glitter

Hello all!  How is everyone's new year going so far?  Mine has been pretty polish-happy...after some time away I have been back at blogging more often and I have some nail mail coming my way ooooo.  I have some awesome polishes I have been waiting to order for a while from Llarowe, and I happened to find out that the Zoya 3 Free promo went live early last night and I ended up with six polishes because I couldn't pick just three (naturally....).  For more info on the Zoya promo, check out their Facebook page - it was supposed to start this Monday but it appears to have gone live a few days early.

Today I have an interesting look that I put together when I was messing around yesterday.   I wanted to use my Nyx Girls Enchanted Forest which is a green glitter polish in a green tinted base.  I thought about putting it over black but then I saw Butter London Slapper and thought that could look interesting so I went with that instead.  I kind of like the combo!  The teal base makes the glitters look more gold than green.

This was a fun mani, but the only problem I had was that Enchanted Forest took a long time to dry and was pretty thick - almost goopy.  However I liked the glitter so much I figured it was worth it!
