Red Studded Nails & Coupon!!

Happy holidays everyone!  Today I have an awesome mani with some great accessories.  I have been wanting to test out studded nails for a long time, and I am so glad I found these awesome small square studs at the Born Pretty Store!  I have a few more ideas for them, but I thought I would start with some red nails in honor of the holiday.  I'm not big on super holiday themed nails (although I do have some good Christmas ones coming up!).  I have mostly seen studded nails with black, and I gotta say I think red looks pretty sharp.  These awesome small square studs are exaaaactly what I was looking for.  The flat back makes them super easy to apply and they are a perfect size to do any type of design that you are looking for.  

For this look I put them over two coats of Essie Jelly Apple (one of my favorite reds, plus its a fairly opaque jelly). Born Pretty Store also sent me an adorable crystal ring, check it out in the pictures.  Its really simple so you can wear it with any outfit and any other jewelry plus its just a really classic design.  

I LOVE this look!  I was so happy with the way it turned out.  These studs were so easy to apply and take off, and I put my usual top coat over the whole thing and there was no bubbling or anything, they really lend themselves very well to intricate nail art.  I have so many other ideas for these, you will be seeing them again!
